can anyone give me some tricks or tips for sony sp digital betacam 700 or 790 to produce a special image??? :D

What effects (special images) are you trying to acheive? There are plenty of menus to tweak :wink:

i want to know camera menu and discription of every option ( what does every option do??) ex. what does (gamma) do? what does it control in the image produced?.....
i hope to produce an image especialized for me (my setup) .. but there's nothing specific i can ask for..
do u get me?????

I promise to send u half the profit I gain if I reached the special setup by your help.... :)

To learn all the menu functions and what they mean, I had to attend a massive one-day hands-on workshop at Sony. I can tell you, this course was not cheap.

If you want to make the perfect set-up for your camera I would suggest, Testing, testing, and some more testing. I always go for the best possible image, as little tweaking as possible. 95% of the time I also use preset white balance. I leave the "special images" for the post-producrion facilties. The more information the post facility receives on tape, the better results they can achieve.
